Kelly Khumalo Welcome New Born
According to an anonymous source, singer Kelly Khumalo has welcomed her third child into the world.
A local publication broke the news on Wednesday, 19 April, announcing that the 38-year-old star had given birth to a beautiful baby girl just a few days prior. The “Empini” singer has yet to make the official announcement on any of her social media accounts.
“Kelly is a modern but traditional woman, so she will be indoors for some time before announcing the birth. Past experiences have also taught her to protect what is important to her,” the unnamed source told the news outlet.
The father of the newborn is believed to be former Kaizer Chiefs player, Mthokozisi Vincent Yende, who has been dating the singer for the past three years.
A heavily pregnant Khumalo threw herself a lavish, gender-neutral baby shower dubbed “A New Lineage Legacy” at the Suitability Gardens venue in De Deur, Gauteng on Tuesday, 4 April. The images posted to Instagram in the following days showed her surrounded by happy and loving family and friends.
The Mzansi icon already has two children: a 12-year-old son named Christian with TV host and musician, Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye, and a 9-year-old daughter named Thingolenkosazana with late Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa.
